The guitars are so morbidly heavy that the audience feels like they continuously squatted for 31 minutes. Paired with the absolute NAUGHTY vocals that summons a turtleneck sweater wearing gargoyle, this album should be illegal. Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
